EleMental · Last updated 17 August 2026
The short version. EleMental has no accounts and asks for no personal information. We do not know your name, your email address or who you are. The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Google AdMob, which collect usage and advertising data as described below.
If you tell the app your birth month and year, that answer never leaves your device. It is used on the device to decide how ads must be requested, and nothing more.
EleMental is published by SyncTek LLC. This policy covers the EleMental iOS app and this website. Questions: maurice.carrier@synctek.io.
None. There is no sign-up, no profile and no contact form in the app. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or address, and there is nowhere in the app to provide them.
Before the app can show you an ad, it asks when you were born — month and year only, never the day — or lets you decline to say. This is an age screen, not a profile.
That answer is stored only on your device, in the app's local settings under
com.synctek.elemental.ageDeclaration.v1. It is not transmitted to us, to Google, or to
anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it.
Our analytics can record that an ad was withheld for audience reasons, as a reason code alongside the ad event. That code says an ad was suppressed; it does not carry your age or your birth date.
The app includes software from Google and Apple. What each collects:
| Service | What it is for | What it collects |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics for Firebase | Understanding how the game is played, so it can be improved | In-app events (for example: an element was discovered, a run finished, a screen was opened), device model, operating system version, app version, language, and approximate location derived from IP address at country level. No name, email or contact details. |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Finding and fixing crashes | Crash reports: the state of the app when it stopped, device model and OS version. |
| Google AdMob | Showing the optional rewarded ads | Device and ad-request information, and — only in the case described in section 4 — the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). |
| Apple Game Center | The Blitz leaderboard | If you are signed in to Game Center, your best Blitz score and your Game Center identity are handled by Apple. We never receive your Apple Account details. If you are not signed in, nothing is submitted. |
| Apple App Store | Remove Ads and Premium purchases | Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment card, billing address or Apple Account. |
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services listed above.
EleMental is a general-audience game. Children are welcome in it, so the app screens age neutrally and then requests ads accordingly. Ads are non-personalised by default.
| What you told the app | How ads are requested |
|---|---|
| Under 13 | Child-directed treatment. No IDFA is requested. Ads are non-personalised. |
| 13 to 15 | Treated as under the age of consent. No IDFA is requested. Ads are non-personalised. |
| Declined to say, or not yet asked | The same protective treatment as above. Ads are non-personalised. |
| 16 or older | You are asked for tracking permission (section 5). Ads are personalised only if you allow it, and non-personalised if you do not. |
Ad content is capped so that mature creatives are never requested, for any player, at any declared age.
If, and only if, you have said you are 16 or older, iOS will ask:
“Allow EleMental to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites?”
Choosing Ask App Not to Track means no IDFA is shared and ads stay non-personalised. The game is otherwise identical — nothing is locked, slowed or withheld.
You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and the app's own age answer can be changed in Settings → Ads & Privacy inside the game.
If you have purchased Remove Ads or Premium, no ad is ever shown, so neither the age screen nor the tracking prompt appears at all.
EleMental is not published in the Apple Kids Category, but it is designed to be safe for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
Where a player indicates they are under 13, the app applies child-directed treatment as required by the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA): no advertising identifier is requested and ads are non-personalised. Where a player indicates they are under 16, or declines to answer, the app applies the equivalent under-age-of-consent treatment used for the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, please contact us and we will act on it — though as described above, the app provides no way to enter such information.
Because there is no account, there is no profile for us to delete on request — there is nothing holding your identity in the first place.
Progress, discoveries, hints and your age answer are stored on your device and are removed when the app is deleted. Analytics and crash data are retained by Google under Firebase's own retention settings. Leaderboard scores are retained by Apple under Game Center.
If the app changes what it collects, this page changes with it, and the date at the top changes too. Material changes will be described in the app's release notes.
